Job summary

Maximum Quality Foods, Inc. in Linden, NJ is seeking a Forklift Operator for the first shift to maintain stock and pull orders for manufacturing in a fast-paced warehouse.

You will operate forklift and hand trucks, unload shipments, and help ensure safety and accuracy, with overtime eligibility and supervision by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 90 lbs.
• Basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and maintains all stock inventories for warehouse daily.
• Follows daily manufacturing work orders with attention to materials.
• Maneuvers heavy materials with forklift, pallet and hand truck.
• Unloads shipping trucks as required.
• Maintains machines functioning per established standards.
• Assists shipping with package procedures.
• Reports concerns or discrepancies to management.
• Maintains tools and equipment in a clean, safe manner.
• Complies with safety regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor Department: Operations

Position Summary:

The Forklift Operatoris responsible for maintaining all stock inventory and pulling orders for manufacturing per designated work orders by performing the following duties.

The Forklift Operatoris not exempt from the overtime provisions of the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act and shall be entitled to overtime compensation for hours worked more than 40 in any one work week.

The Forklift Operatorshall be accountable and supervised by the Warehouse Manager.
