About the Role

The Forklift Operator plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe movement of materials within a warehouse or distribution center. The position is responsible for operating various types of forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods to designated locations. It requires accurate picking and placing orders using RF scanners and other warehouse technology, and strict adherence to safety and compliance protocols to prevent accidents and damage to products or equipment. The operator supports the overall supply chain by facilitating timely and accurate material handling to meet business demands.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks in a warehouse or industrial setting.
• Basic understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret inventory documents and use RF scanning technology.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating multiple types of forklifts including stand‑up forklifts and clamp trucks.
