48forty Solutions LLC is hiring a Forklift Operator in Lacey, WA. The role loads and unloads pallets, moves wood inside the plant, and stacks products for transport. Shifts run Monday–Friday with day hours and overtime is possible.

Overview

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll get to load and unload trailer with wooden pallets and move pallets inside our plants to keep manufacturing production moving efficiently! We’re looking for a motivated individual who will keep things moving at a safe and efficient pace!

Hourly Pay:

$21.00/hr.

Shift(s):

1shift shift: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

1st shift 2.0: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm

What You'll Do

• Unload deliveries of pallets and/or wood to the proper location inside the plant

• Move freshly cut and recycled wood to the appropriate worktable area

• Stack finished products into trailers or to storage areas up to a safe height

• Maintain a safe working environment by lifting, stacking, and transporting materials with all other plant personnel in mind

What You'll Need

• 1-3 years of forklift experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, lumber, carpentry, lumber, welding, roofing, and/or construction is strongly preferred

• Willingness to work in a labor intensive environment

• Ability to communicate effectively

• Willing to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
