Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is hiring a forklift operator to support yard operations in Kalamazoo, MI. You will operate forklifts, organize inventory, and ensure accurate delivery documentation, enabling efficient loading and unloading of trailers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must complete internal forklift training program.
• At least one year of forklift experience moving up to 20,000 lbs preferred.
• Ability to read and write simple instructions and communicate with team.
• Able to lift up to 40 lbs during shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate stretch wrap machines, film roll up-enders, and extended boom arm forklift equipment
• Organize product on the yard according to inventory procedures
• Safely load and unload product from flat beds and box trailers
• Validate packing slips, ship tickets, and other delivery documentation
• Operate forklifts moving weights of 20,000 lbs.
• Perform routine maintenance on forklift
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
