Job summary

SpartanNash, a leader in food solutions, is seeking a forklift operator to move, load, unload, and stage merchandise in our Indianapolis area distribution operations. This full-time role requires safely operating equipment and adhering to SOPs to support timely orders.

Conditions include a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience; certification may be preferred. You must be able to work 5 days a week, with shifts starting between 9am and 12pm, and be able to lift up to 75

Position Summary

Responsible to operate a forklift to move, load, unload, relocate and stack merchandise. Responsible for pulling and staging orders for delivery; unload inbound and load outbound shipments and move products to dispersing trailers. Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and maintain facility’s equipment in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.

Employees must be able to work weekends, holidays, days and night hours, and overtime as necessary and as assigned, and must be able to work in the condition specified for 8-10 hours shift as assigned. Travel requirements vary by assignment.
