Job summary

BSN SPORTS, A VARSITY BRANDS COMPANY, is seeking a Forklift Driver to join the Production/Warehouse team in Indianapolis. You will manage inventory placement and ensure accurate, efficient distribution flow, while adhering to safety and standard work instructions.

Responsibilities include put-away, counts, replenishments, and collaboration with Inventory Control. OT is mandatory and shifts vary from 6:00am-2:30pm to 3:00pm-11:30pm, with weekend options.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with strong accuracy and accountability.
• Excellent attitude, coachability and reliability.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Able to collaborate with other departments and teams.
• Experience with SAP, lift equipment, RF scanners or inventory control is a plus.

• Occasionally assist Facilities with movement of boxes.

SHIFTS AVAILABLE :

1st Shift - Monday - Friday; 6:00am - 2:30pm

2nd Shift - Monday - Friday; 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Weekend Shift - Friday - Monday; 6:00am - 4:30pm

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

As a member of the Production/Warehouse team, the Forklift Driver plays a critical role making sure all inventory is accounted for and placed in the most efficient locations for optimizing our distribution flow. You'll make sure products are physically and systematically in best location. This role is key to an efficient and effective operation by ensuring inventory is accurately managed.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a bonus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time (8-10 hours per shift), including standing on moving equipment to perform job functions. Must be able to work at heights of 3-4 levels up while picking boxes from locations. Repetitive movement of the body is required on a regular basis, including reaching, pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting. The position requires lifting of no less than 15-40 lbs. on a regular basis. Must be able to tolerate working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
