Job summary

Caliberr Staffing is seeking a forklift operator to maneuver powered industrial vehicles and move goods within our facility, including loading bays and railcars. You will support shipping and manufacturing by staging products and organizing cargo for efficient operations.

Qualified candidates have at least 1 year operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks, and are comfortable working in a cold-storage environment. A high school diploma or GED is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of professional experience operating stand-up forklifts.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with reach trucks.
• Ability to perform job duties effectively within a cold-storage freezer environment.
• Completion of a high school diploma or GED is considered an asset but is not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport goods within the facility and between storage zones, machinery, and loading bays.
• Use reach trucks and pallet jacks to move inventory securely and efficiently.
• Organize cargo shipments and stage products to support shipping and manufacturing cycles.
• Label containers and ensure accurate tracking through identification tags.
• Transport inventory between production zones and warehouse storage.

Daily Tasks

• Utilize various forklifts, such as reach trucks, stand-up models, or pallet jacks, to ensure the secure and productive movement of inventory.
• Organize cargo shipments prior to the loading or unloading process.
• Label containers or apply identification tags to ensure accurate tracking.
• Transport inventory, raw materials, or freight between production zones and warehouse storage.
• Support the team by staging and arranging products to facilitate efficient shipping and manufacturing cycles.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of professional experience operating stand-up forklifts.
• At least one year of hands-on experience with reach trucks.
• Ability to perform job duties effectively within a cold-storage freezer environment.
