Job summary

Clayton is seeking a forklift operator to ensure safe movement of product to machine centers and to maintain organized storage within the facility. This role supports production by coordinating with schedulers and machine operators in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, warehouse or construction experience, strong attention to detail and teamwork, and forklift operation experience or certification (training provided).

• Experience in construction or warehouse settings preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow safety protocols.
• Forklift experience or certification is preferred, training available.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift in a fast paced work environment.

• Load and unload materials efficiently.
• Maintain quality documentation and materials received.

Position Summary:

Safe movement of product to machine centers with basic organization of product to specified areas of the facility.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift in a fast paced work environment
• Stay aware of possible hazards and safety protocols
• Coordinates with Production Scheduler and Machine Operators
• Loading, unloading of materials in a fast paced work environment
• Maintains quality expectation of documentation and materials received
• Maintaining forklift
• Performs other duties as required by management

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Previous construction or warehouse experience preferred
• Attention to detail and good communication skills
• Ability to work well within a team
• Experience operating a forklift or forklift certification preferred, training available
