Job summary

The Forklift Operator at Altium Packaging is responsible for operating a forklift to stack and retrieve supplies, while following our Good Manufacturing Practices. The Hebron, KY facility located at 2100 Global Way seeks candidates for the 8-hour third shift (11:00 PM–7:30 AM, Sunday through Thursday).

Essential duties include loading trucks, securing products, weighing materials, monitoring usage, keeping lines stocked, inventorying and labeling products, and performing other duties as

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED.
• Current OSHA forklift driving certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to load, unload, and move materials as required by production and customer needs.
• Load trucks and secure products for delivery.
• Weigh materials and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
• Keep production lines stocked with raw materials and monitor usage.
• Inventory, label, wrap, and sort products as needed.
• Follow safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials as well as following our company\'s Good Manufacturing Practices.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies


• Load trucks and secure product in accordance with customer requirements


• Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting device


• Monitor material usage on work floor and supply production lines with raw materials


• Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules


• Keep production lines supplied with raw materials


• Inventory product as needed. And label, sort, wrap and tie product


• Unload and stack material by raising and lowering lifting device


• Other duties as assigned by management


• Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

Minimum Requirements

Education and/or Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Current OSHA forklift driving certification
