Job summary

Xpedient Logistics in Groveport, OH is seeking Team Members to operate powered industrial equipment including stand-up and sit-down forklifts. You will load/unload pallets, pick and stage orders, and prepare products for shipment. This shift runs Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, at $21 per hour.

Candidates must pass a forklift driving skills test and be 18 years or older, with safety and OSHA awareness. Experience with racking systems, inventory accuracy, and the ability to follow instructions

Qualifications

• Lifts cases weighing 20–45 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment (stand-up and sit-down forklifts).
• Load/unload pallets and cases; pick and stage orders.
• Put away inbound shipments and move products to storage using forklift.
• Prepare product for shipment ensuring correct item and quantity is staged.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping records and reports as required.
• Report quality variances and assist in daily safety checks.
• Keep equipment and facility clean, organized and in good repair.
• Complete daily forklift inspections and participate in required training.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by management.
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards.

Summary

Our Team Members operate powered industrial equipment such as stand-up and sit-down forklifts with fork or clamp attachments. Tasks loading/unloading pallets and cases, picking/staging orders, putting away pallets, and other general forklift work.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct operations in a manner promoting safety
• Sit-down lift experiences preferred
• Minimum of 6 months of forklift and warehouse experience
• Must be super-efficient in all tasks required
• Put away inbound shipments/move product to storage locations using a forklift
• Picking cases by the each onto pallets using the powered equipment
• Prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and correct item is staged for loading
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
• Report quality variances
• Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion
• Assist in any required physical inventories
• Complete daily inspection of equipment
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management
• Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards
• Ability to read, understand and follow instructions, and to code applicable documents

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test
• This position requires lifting cases weighing from 20-45 pounds repeatedly throughout a long work period
• 18 years or older
• Working in a high-speed manufacturing environment (e.g., team-oriented, deadline driven, high performance demands, fast-paced, etc.)
• Driving a forklift (e.g., performing basic operations such as driving forwards, driving backwards, lifting and lowering boom, maneuvering in tight areas without damaging product, etc.)
• Working with racking systems and loading/unloading pallets (e.g., pulling and placing pallets on/off vertical product racking systems and trucks, maximizing storage by stacking products vertically, etc.)
• Working with standards of operation (e.g., OSHA requirements on minimum/maximum speeds, signaling, putting products in appropriate areas, etc.)

Safety:

• Observe and follow health and safety regulations
• Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
• Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures
• Maintain detailed records of safety incidents
• Assign designated safety personnel
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
