Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler in Franklin, Indiana. The role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities in a growing supply chain team.

The position includes forklift operation, order fulfillment, packing and shipping duties, along with maintaining safety standards and accurate records. The schedule is first shift, Monday to Friday, with training provided and a focus on teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Valid forklift license certified.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Ability to be a team player and work within a diverse environment.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
• Highly thorough and dependable.
• Must be punctual and have a good attendance record.
• Performs work independently with minimal supervision.
• Possesses a high degree of initiative.

• Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Responsible for accurate picking/packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products and loading/unloading of trucks.
• Responsible for day-to-day warehouse paperwork (e.g. picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
• Provide maintenance support for the automated packing system during core shift hour of production.
• Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Hourly Pay $20.00 per hour
• Schedule: First Shift Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
