Job summary

Enovis is seeking a Forklift Operator to be based in the DFW area who will pick, move, and stage orders within the distribution center, operate RF scanners, and ensure accuracy and safety in material handling.

Join a team focused on reliable fulfillment and continuous improvement, with opportunities to contribute to efficient logistics and on-time shipping across our Bracing and Supports unit.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid forklift certificate.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating RF scanners.
• Good physical condition.

Responsibilities

• Picks, scans, and stages orders from distribution center locations.
• Ensures order accuracy and safety in handling materials.
• Loads, unloads, ships, and receives items.
• Moves merchandise between locations within the facility.
• Optimizes loads for efficiency.
• Secures loads prior to transport.
• Inspects for vehicle damage and schedules maintenance.
• Operates and manages technical equipment.
• Manages inventory with RF scanning.
• Picks and wraps orders for shipment.
• Identifies workplace safety hazards.

Job Title/High-Level Position Summary

This position fills orders by selecting specified items from different areas in distribution center. Indicates items filled or omitted. Moves merchandise manually from one location to another. May process returned merchandise.

Key Responsibilities

• Picks, scans, and stages customer orders by selecting specified items from various locations within the distribution center.
• Ensures order accuracy, quality standards, and proper handling of materials throughout the fulfillment process.
• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse items.
• Transporting materials to different locations within the facility.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Securing loads to the machine before transportation.
• Inspecting for damages to vehicles.
• Scheduling vehicles for maintenance and repairs.
• Operating and managing technical equipment
• Managing inventory by utilizing RF scanning equipment.
• Picking and wrapping orders for shipment.
• Identifying workplace safety hazards.

Minimum Basic Qualification

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Valid fork-lifting certificate.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination.
• Proficiency in operating technical machinery and RF scanners -
• Good physical condition.
