Job summary

L’Oréal is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator for our Dallas distribution center. You will safely move products using forklifts and other MHE, loading and unloading goods to support timely shipments.

You will monitor quality, perform routine equipment checks, and uphold OSHA safety standards while maintaining accurate inventory records. We value teamwork and attention to detail as you help ensure our world-famous brands reach customers on time, every day.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to meet OSHA and forklift/MHE certification standards.
  • Proficiency operating powered equipment with safety and efficiency in mind.
  • Strong teamwork and communication to coordinate with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and other MHE to load, unload, move, stack and stage products.
  • Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate, damage-free and meet quality standards.
  • Perform daily equipment inspections; keep area clean and orderly following safety programs.
  • Support inventory control through stock rotation, cycle counts and accurate record-keeping.

A Day in the Life

Reporting to the Physical Flows Supervisor, you will be a key player in our Dallas distribution center. As part of the Consumer Products Division, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of our products using powered material handling equipment (MHE), ensuring our world-famous brands reach our customers accurately and on time.

  • Execute Physical Flows: You will operate forklifts and other MHE to load, unload, move, stack, and stage products. This includes picking materials for production and preparing finished goods for shipment.
  • Uphold Quality Standards: You\'ll be a guardian of our quality, ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, damage-free, and meet our high standards.
  • Champion Safety & Housekeeping: You will conduct daily equipment inspections, maintain a clean and orderly work area, and operate all equipment safely, in compliance with OSHA standards and L’Oréal’s safety programs.
  • Manage Inventory: You will assist in maintaining tight inventory control by ensuring proper stock rotation, participating in physical inventories, and keeping accurate records to support the team.
