Qualifications

Job description

The Forklift Driver / Order Puller is responsible for accurately pulling, wrapping, and staging customer orders. This position operates forklifts and other material handling equipment to support production, shipping, receiving, and inventory control activities while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Pull customer and production orders accurately according to pick tickets, work orders, and shipping documents.
  • Load and unload trucks in a safe and timely manner.
  • Verify quantities, product codes, and descriptions against paperwork and inventory records.
  • Perform daily forklift inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
  • Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Follow company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.
  • Work closely with production, shipping, receiving, and inventory teams to support operational goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Previous forklift operating experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.
  • Basic math skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, stoop, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to sit and operate a forklift for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in varying warehouse and production environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and temperature fluctuations.
