Job summary

ADP is seeking a Forklift Operator for the Cross City Plant in Cross City, FL. The role involves loading/unloading, inventory accuracy, and safe handling of products in a busy warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include completing daily forklift checklists, maintaining 99.9% shipping accuracy, and communicating safety or equipment issues to supervision. Weekend work may be required, and basic paperwork interpretation is essential for accurate movements of goods.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product for warehouse.
• Locate product safely and efficiently in the warehouse.
• Read and understand various paperwork to accurately move and/or ship products and materials.
• Complete daily operator’s forklift checklist and identify inventory locations with high accuracy.
• Picks, stacks and stages orders with 99.9% shipping accuracy.
• Report safety issues to supervisor and forklift operating issues.
• Minimize damage by proper product handling and inspect product quality.
• Maintain housekeeping and inspect warehouse for maintenance needs.
• Reload or return damaged product to designated areas as needed.
• Prepare for bin-to-bin transfers and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work well both in teams and independently.
• Willingness to work weekends as needed.

FORKLIFT OPERATOR

REGULAR FULL TIME Cross City Plant, Cross City, FL, US

• Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
• Load and unload product for warehouse.
• Locate product safety and efficiently in the warehouse.
• Must be able to read and understand various paperwork, to accurately move and/or ship various types of product and materials.
• Must complete a daily operator’s checklist on the forklift to which the operator is assigned. Must be able to identify inventory, inventory locations, and maintain a very high accuracy rate.
• Picks, stacks and stages orders maintaining 99.9% shipping accuracy.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor of forklift operating issues, product storage issues, inventory restock issues, and inventory variances.
• Treat product so as to minimize damage occurrences.
• Inspect product to ensure that it will meet customer expectations and clear damages from process.
• Responsible for housekeeping in the buildings and grounds to which the operator is assigned and inspect warehouse for maintenance issues.
• Required to re-stack damaged product and/or return damaged product to designated area.
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of loading information.
• Responsible for bin to bin transfers, and ensure inventory accuracy.
• Ability to work well with teams and alone.
• Inspect warehouse for maintenance issues; keep area clean and well maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Must be willing to work weekends as needed.
