Job summary

Ferrellgas's Blue Rhino division in Pinellas Park, FL is seeking a Full-Time Forklift Operator to inspect and transport propane cylinders by forklift for Blue Rhino delivery drivers. In-house OSHA certified training is offered.

You will work on local routes with potential evenings and weekends; duties include safe forklift operation, paperwork, inspections, and supporting production when not operating the forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, understand and pass training requirements.
• 1+ years' work experience preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, in all weather conditions.
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Transports propane cylinders safely around the yard with forklift.
• Handles and maintains flow of materials and products under safety guidelines.
• Position may require evening hours and weekends as needed.
• Completes and submits log sheets, BOLs, packing slips and other paperwork as required.
• Documents forklift inspection before shift start up for safety and OSHA compliance.
• Inspects vehicle regularly and notifies supervisor if maintenance is needed.
• Maintains a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including assisting production shifts when not operating forklift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, understand and pass any necessary training requirements and exams
• 1+ years' of work experience, preferred
• At least 18 years of age
• Physically able to lift up to 75 pounds, in all weather conditions
• Genuine commitment to providing superior customer service
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
