Job summary

Love's Travel Stops is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. This role involves loading, unloading, picking, and putting away products using a warehouse management system, while maintaining safe and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will operate forklifts and related equipment, perform daily safety checks, and assist with inventory counts. Prior forklift experience and a commitment to safety are preferred; training is provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 75+ pounds.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and PPE requirements.
• Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Willingness to learn and operate various equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, pick, and store products using a warehouse management system (WMS).
• Move inventory items weighing up to 75 pounds.
• Maintain a clean, safe facility and follow safety protocols.
• Operate forklifts, squeeze clamps, and order selectors safely.
• Assist with daily inventory counts and ensure product integrity.

Job Functions

• Load, unload, pick, and put away products using a warehouse management system (WMS), including physically moving inventory items weighing over 75 pounds.
• Maintain a safe and clean facility and use safety first practices to remain accident-free
• Use all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses, and harnesses or seatbelts while driving equipment
• Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, squeeze clamp, man-up order selectors, and floor scrubbers) in a safe mannerResponsible for daily safety checks of equipment and periodic inventory counts
• Maintain integrity of products through proper handling and storage
