Job summary

Clean Harbors in Baltimore, MD seeks a Warehouse Material Handler/Truck to Truck Technician to move and place waste between Clean Harbors facilities and direct generators. Shift options include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd with a pay premium for 2nd/3rd shifts.

Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/offloading, and ensuring safety and accuracy in material handling. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1+ years of related experience, and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Move and place waste material between facilities and generators.
  • Receive, sort, and process material at the hub.
  • Load/offload trucks and manage warehouse tasks.
  • Maintain organization and communicate professionally via email or in person.
  • Report issues to the Direct Manager/GM/Health & Safety/Compliance Manager immediately.
  • Maintain DOT and manifest training knowledge.

Job description

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Material Handler/ Truck to Truck Technician at our Baltimore, MD facility responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors’ facilities and direct generators.

Shift: 1st (7am - 3pm) / 2nd (3pm-11pm) / 3rd (11pm-7am)

Pay: $20 w/$1.75 SD pay added for 2nd and 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities
  • Attention to Detail and can manage & organize multiple task
  • Able to communicate professionally and effectively one on one or through email
  • Forklift experience
  • Warehouse and logistics experience, including loading/offloading trucks
  • Material handling experience
  • Ability to receive, sort, and process material
  • Report and assist on any issues that may occur at the hub facility, such as, leaks, releases to the Direct Manager/GM, Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately.
  • DOT training and knowledge of regulations.
  • Manifest training and knowledge of regulations
  • Proficiency in Windows based applications
