Job summary

CoWorx is seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator for our Bolingbrook area client, stationed in Aurora, IL. You will safely operate forklifts and other handling equipment to support warehouse and distribution activities, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities include receiving, storing, moving, and shipping materials, verifying quantities, and assisting with inventory control.

Qualifications

• Must have previous cherry picker forklift experience.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial equipment.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, and stooping.
• Ability to lift, lower, push, and pull materials of varying weights.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts, hand trucks, dollies, and other material handling equipment.
• Receive, process, store, move, and ship parts, materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Load and unload trailers while ensuring safe entry and exit procedures.
• Transport materials throughout the facility in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain awareness of designated safety zones and ensure the safety of all personnel in the work area.
• Verify quantities, part numbers, destinations, and shipment timelines using source documents.
• Utilize equipment for weighing, banding, wrapping, and packaging materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and basic servicing as required.
• Follow company safety policies, warehouse procedures, and quality standards.
• Assist with inventory control and material tracking activities.
• Support team operations and perform other duties as assigned by management

CoWorx is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation of forklifts and other material handling equipment to support warehouse and distribution activities. The ideal candidate will have experience moving, storing, receiving, and shipping materials while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, efficiency, and quality. This position requires knowledge of warehouse operations, logistics, supply chain processes, material management, and transportation procedures to ensure business and customer requirements are met. Shifts:

• 6:00AM - 2:30PM; Pay rate $20.50/hr
• 1:00PM - 9:30PM; Pay rate $21.75/hr

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and safety.
• Previous warehouse, material handling, logistics, or forklift experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
