Position: Forklift Operator

Industry: Vehicle Operator

Pay Rate: $17.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Assist shipping and receiving by unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies
• Load and unload building materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage
• Transport materials within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy
• Regularly lift and/or move objects over 100 lbs. with proper equipment
• Work in warehouse and outside environments, exposed to weather conditions
• Inspect and maintain forklifts, reporting issues promptly

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of warehouse experience in shipping and receiving
• 3+ years of forklift experience
• Experience handling pipe (carbon and stainless steel) is a plus
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and in teams
• Knowledge of safety protocols and operating instructions
• Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
