Staffmark in partnership with Stord is hiring a Forklift Operator in Atlanta, GA. The role offers a pay rate of $18.00–$19.00 per hour with multiple shift options and a temp-to-hire employment type.

You will safely operate forklifts to move materials, support inventory movement, and help maintain efficient warehouse operations while meeting safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid forklift certification required or ability to provide current certification.
• Experience using RF scanners, WMS, and inventory tracking systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently following safety standards.
• Load/unload, sort, stage, and transport products throughout the warehouse.
• Verify inbound/outbound shipments for accuracy and condition.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to track inventory and complete transactions.
• Move materials to designated storage, staging, shipping, and receiving locations.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with team members to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.

• Thursday – Saturday | 6:30 AM – 7 PM
• Monday – Friday | 4 PM – 12:30 AM
• Part Time | Saturday + Sunday | 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment with seasonal temperature fluctuations.
• Ability to safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment for extended periods.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background requirements.

Job Duties

• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently while following company and workplace safety standards.

• Use RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete transactions.

• Work closely with team members to support shipping, receiving, inventory, and warehouse operations.

• Perform additional warehouse and material handling duties as assigned by management.
