Job summary

R+L Carriers is hiring Forklift Mechanics in Louisville, KY. This full-time role requires repairing and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 125 lbs. Monday–Friday shifts are offered, with vacation after 90 days of employment.

Ideal candidates will have 3 years of related experience, own tools, and the ability to create repair work orders using a computer. A valid driving record is required.

Qualifications

• 3 years of repair/maintenance of industrial fork trucks.
• Electric & manual pallet jack repair/maintenance.
• Aerial lift repair/maintenance would be a plus.
• Must be able to use a computer for creating repair work orders.
• Must have your own tools on site; company will provide specialized tools.
• Must be able to lift 100 lbs.
• Must have a clean driving record for the past 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow management instructions and document work orders accurately.
