Job description

Kleen Test Products (KTP) is hiring Forklift Material Handlers at our Strasburg, OH Plant to support the production of disinfectants and household cleaners.

**A typical day for a Material Handler at KTP includes:**

• Operating a sit-down electric forklift safely and efficiently
• Supplying production lines with the correct raw materials to meet demand
• Completing lot tracking for all incoming raw materials and packaging components
• Loading and unloading raw materials and finished goods
• Picking and staging finished products proactively
• Properly marking raw materials
• Removing waste from the production lines
• Using RF scan guns for scanning and barcoding into the aScan system
• Processing paperwork accurately and promptly

**Essential Functions:**

• Operate a sit-down electric forklift safely; forklift certification is provided on your first day
• Operate additional equipment such as hand jacks, drum dollies, clamp trucks, scissors lifts, powered hoists, and floor scrubbers; training provided if needed

**Minimum Requirements:**

• Availability for in-person/on-site interview
• Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting
• Ability to read pick-lists and use electronic inventory systems
• Effective communication skills and ability to understand instructions
• Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
• Ability to maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
