Job summary

UNFI Joliet is hiring a Loader to join the distribution team. You will load merchandise, verify quantities, and help move products from receiving to trucks, supporting safe, efficient loading operations.

We offer weekly pay, starting at $22.95/hour plus $2.00/hour Sunday differential, full-time roles with benefits including 401K, medical, dental, vision, PTO, and more. Must be 18+, have warehouse and forklift experience, and be able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have previous warehouse experience.
• Must have previous high lift, forklift, or reach truck experience.
• Must have ability to lift up to 75 pounds, frequent bending, stooping and lifting.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Loads general merchandise products or supplies using a single jack and dock fork
• Works in a fast paced environment
• Assists other departments with work activities when required
• Promotes good working relationships by maintaining a courteous and friendly manner
• Attends work regularly and on time as scheduled
• Ensures work tasks are completed accurately
