Job summary

JLG, an Oshkosh company, is seeking a Materials Support team member in Chambersburg to maintain accurate inventory and support production through efficient material movement.

You will safely operate forklifts, verify packing lists, and prepare shipments while coordinating with internal teams. The role requires overtime as needed and adherence to lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Forklift license required or able to obtain.
• Basic computer literacy for inventory systems.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing concepts is a plus.
• Willingness to work overtime including evenings/weekends.
• Minimum 6 months experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy through labeling, stocking, and recording materials.
• Safely operate forklifts to move materials within the facility.
• Verify items against packing slips and process receipts/shipments.
• Package materials for delivery to internal or external customers.
• Respond to material requests and communicate with internal departments.
