Job summary

Performance Pet Products is seeking a reliable Warehouse/Forklift Operator to load and unload goods, move materials between the production floor and storage, and ensure accurate shipping paperwork. You will perform daily equipment checks, assist in order preparation, and keep work areas orderly and safe.

Applicants should have warehouse experience, forklift certification where possible, good communication, and basic math skills. Must be 18+ and work 1st/2nd shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Experience operating a forklift and ability to pass in-house certifications.
• Ability to communicate effectively and record information on shipping documents.
• Ability to perform basic math operations with a calculator.
• Must be 18 years of age or older for insurance purposes.

Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to load/unload trucks and store products.
• Transfer materials between production and storage areas and manage pallets.
• Review shipping documents for accuracy and receive approved materials.
• Complete daily equipment inspections and maintain accurate paperwork.
• Assist in gathering materials and preparing orders for shipment; conduct inventory checks.
• Communicate professionally with internal staff and external visitors.
• Operate yard trucks safely to move trailers as needed.
• Collect or drill samples of frozen meat for lab testing when required.
• Complete reports promptly and keep the production floor clean and organized.
• Maintain adherence to safety and environmental policies and ensure on-site attendance.
