Job summary

Fraza & Vitan Equipment is seeking an experienced Forklift Technician to service, diagnose, and maintain forklifts and material handling equipment. You’ll work at customer sites and travel daily, applying hands-on repair skills to keep equipment safe and productive.

We offer hourly pay based on experience, a flexible schedule with no weekends, and benefits including PTO and health, dental, and vision coverage, plus a 401(k) with match.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience in forklift or heavy equipment repair (electric, propane, diesel).
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safety focus.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and paint of industrial equipment, including surface cleaning, masking, and finishing to company quality standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment in top shape
• Travel to customer sites—variety of work every day
• Ensure equipment is safe and meets standards
• Keep accurate records of work performed
