Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in the United States is seeking knowledgeable, customer-focused field service technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain Crown and other lift trucks at customer sites. You will perform planned maintenance, complete service paperwork, and engage in welding and fabrication as part of resolving issues on powered industrial equipment.

The role emphasizes safety, strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and ability to read schematics.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals.
• Industry related training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job
