Job summary

Finlays Solutions in San Antonio, TX is seeking a Material Handler for the 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:30pm). The role involves receiving and shipping packages, operating a forklift, and ensuring accuracy with packing slips and RF scanners.

You will work under the Warehouse Manager, support inventory control, and help maintain GMP and food safety standards in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred; forklift experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work effectively with peers, management and other departments.
• Proficiency with computers and RF scanning devices.

Responsibilities

• Receive all incoming packages; verify quantities against packing slips and note discrepancies.
• Operate forklift and wrapping machine as needed.
• Determine labeling requirements for shipping containers and customer-specific labels.
• Prepare documents and record receipts promptly.
• Move materials from production to finished goods and from receiving dock to storage.
• Use RF scanners to move inventory and manage locations; follow GMP and food safety practices.
