Job summary

The Home Depot is seeking a Maintenance Technician for forklift repair to ensure safe and reliable operation of powered industrial trucks within the facility. The role includes troubleshooting, diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and repairs on forklifts and related equipment to minimize downtime.

You will maintain safety standards, keep accurate service records, and collaborate with operations teams to optimize performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
• Experience working on industrial electric forklifts is preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs electric lift equipment, conveyor systems, and mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic issues.
• Performs preventive maintenance and minor modifications on electric lift equipment and buildings.
• Provides equipment status reports and documents maintenance problems.
• Adheres to safety guidelines and OSHA standards.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
