Job summary

Gavin Zickerman Quinton Samuels Operations in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking Forklift Operators for a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility. You'll safely move parts, load/unload materials, and support production on a fast-paced line.

We offer 1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts with raises after 90 days and shift premiums on some lines. A background check is required and prior forklift experience is preferred. PTO, holiday pay, health/dental/vision, and a union shop are included.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator with safety focus and ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to pass a national background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move automotive parts and materials.
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as directed.
• Supply production lines with necessary materials.
• Inspect materials and loads for damage.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform daily forklift inspections.
• Work efficiently to support production requirements.

We are currently hiringForklift Operatorsto join our team at a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility in Sterling Heights. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Available Shifts & Pay

• 1st Shift:6:00 AM–2:30 PM —$17.50/hour ($1.50 Raise after 90 days)
  • Monday–Friday
  • Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs
• 2nd Shift:1:00 PM–9:00 PM — ($1.50 Raise after 90 days)
  • $17.50/hour base pay + $0.75 shift premium
  • Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs
• 3rd Shift:6:00 PM–2:30 AM —($1.50 Raise after 90 days)
  • $17.50/hour base pay + $1.50 shift premium
  • Weekends and overtime may be required based on production needs

Job Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to move automotive parts and materials throughout the facility
• Load, unload, stage, and transport materials as directed

Requirements

• Must be able to pass anational background check
• Previous forklift experience preferred
• Ability to safely operate a forklift in a busy manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions
• Automotive or manufacturing experience is a plus
