Job summary

Unique Floor Supply Brooklyn is seeking a Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate to join our Brooklyn/Queens operation. You will safely operate sit-down forklifts, load and unload trucks, and help organize inventory in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.

The role requires 2+ years of forklift experience, a valid certification or ability to obtain one, and the stamina to stand and lift heavy materials. English and Spanish skills are valued; daytime schedule; starting immediately.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years forklift operating experience.
• Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain certification).
• Experience operating electric and/or propane forklifts.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and stand on your feet throughout the day.
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Basic understanding of warehouse systems or inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down electric and/or propane forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload delivery trucks and contractor pickups.
• Move, stack, and organize pallets of flooring materials (2,000–3,000+ lbs).
• Assist with receiving and verifying incoming shipments.
• Pick and stage orders accurately for customer pickup and delivery.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Perform daily forklift safety inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Follow all OSHA and company safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team.

Position Overview

The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely operating forklifts, loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
