Job summary

DrinkPAK, a leading beverage manufacturer based in Moorpark, CA, seeks a Forklift Driver to efficiently load and unload merchandise, plan deliveries, and maintain accurate inventory. You will interact with leadership to set priorities and perform routine forklift maintenance to keep operations flowing smoothly.

The role demands at least 3 years in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, a valid forklift certification, and the ability to operate both sit-down and stand-up forklifts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Ability to safely operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts.
• Experience navigating within a WMS system.
• HS Diploma required; Associate degree+ preferred.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks safely and timely.
• Plan supply and material requirements from production schedules.
• Retrieve supplies and materials and secure pallets.
• Maintain inventory and monitor usage; report discrepancies.
• Move finished pallets and clean up production area.
• Document movements of supplies and goods.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with regulations.
• Operate forklift and perform preventative maintenance as needed.
• Engage with leaders and participate in special projects as required.
• Adhere to DrinkPAK policies, quality, and productivity standards.

Base Hourly Compensation Range: $23.00 / $2.00 night shift differential

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Forklift Driver is responsible for preparing merchandise and securing it for safe, easy transport, communicating with leadership to determine priorities, and performing regular machine maintenance on forklifts.

LOCATION:

The position is based at our location in Moorpark, California.

SHIFT:

Must be willing to work either day and/or night shift; 8 hours per day

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unloads and loads trucks safely and timely to serve our customers.
• Plans supply and material requirements by studying production schedules and scheduling deliveries to the production area.
• Retrieves supplies and materials by studying specifications; locating and verifying supplies and materials; secures pallets on the truck; moves pallets to the production location.
• Maintains inventory in the production area by anticipating and tracking usage. Monitors inventory by reporting discrepancies.
• Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets and moving empty pallets.
• Documents actions by logging supplies, materials, and finished goods movements.
• Maintains a safe work environment by watching out for pedestrian traffic, following standards and procedures, and complying with safety / legal regulations.
• Keeps forklift operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, performing preventative maintenance, and calling for repairs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Interacts and maintains positive relationships with all levels of leadership.
• Accomplishes special projects and other assignments/duties as required by management.
• Compliant with all safety rules and regulations, GMP’s, and all DrinkPAK’s policies and procedures
• Establishes and maintains high standards for quality, housekeeping, and productivity.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.

QUALIFICATIONS

• At least 3 years of experience in the Field or similar manufacturing/warehouse environment; 3 years preferred in Forklift position.
• Forklift Certification is required.
• Must have a full understanding of the operations of a Forklift (electrical or Propane)
• Must have the ability to safely operate a sit-down and stand-up motorized forklift.
• Must have experience navigating within a WMS system.
• High School Diploma required; Associate degree+ preferred.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred.
