Job summary

FXI in Miami is seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our warehouse team. You will move materials, load and unload trucks, and maintain accurate inventory records daily.

This role requires a valid forklift certification, physical stamina, and a strong focus on safety. You will work with a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment, with flexible hours including potential overtime to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification/license.
• Proven experience as forklift operator in a warehouse or production environment.
• Strong knowledge of forklift operation and safety procedures.
• Ability to operate forklifts in narrow aisles and tight spaces.
• Physical strength and stamina for forklift operation.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory tracking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a forklift to move materials, products, and equipment within the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload trucks, stack and store materials in designated areas.
• Perform routine pre and post-operational forklift inspections to ensure equipment is in proper working condition.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Communicate and coordinate with other team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement, including quantities, locations, and timestamps.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse or production floor.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures related to forklift operation and safety.
• Participate in training programs to stay updated on forklift operation best practices.
