UFP Grandview, LLC is seeking a Forklift Operator I in Kansas City, MO. The role moves material between inventory and production, maintains records, and supports production with timely material flow. Key tasks include pre-shift checks, paperwork accuracy, and assisting with bottlenecks. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour, with experience-based adjustments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade education; HS diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Working knowledge of basic math and inventory techniques.
• Must complete Forklift Driver licensing process.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Move material between inventory and production according to schedule.
• Move material in process between stations in a fast-paced environment.
• Band, wrap, pack, and label finished goods.
• Move finished goods to inventory yard or warehouse.
• Assist production with bottlenecks and material needs.
• Provide general preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Complete pre-shift startup equipment checklist and report issues.
• Keep inventory yard organized and clean.
• Complete production records as required.
• Follow forklift rules and company policies.
• Participate in safety, CI, and other program meetings.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Summary

Forklift Operator I is responsible for the movement of material from inventory to production and back to inventory. Maintains correct paperwork and production records as required. Provides production departments with material from inventory according to production schedule.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Moves material in process from one station to another as necessary
• Fast paced production environment
• Bands, wraps and/or packs finished goods, and labels material
• Moves finished goods from production area to finished goods inventory yard or warehouse
• Assist production with bottlenecks and other material needs
• Provides general preventive maintenance on equipment
• Completes pre-shift startup equipment checklist and reports any problems or concerns
• Maintains rough material and finished goods inventory yard organized and clean
• Completes production records as required
• Follows forklift rules and policies as described by Company policy
• Participates in safety, CI and other programs and meetings
• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 9th grade basic education, High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
• Forklift experience required
