• We are seeking a skilled and reliable forklift driver to join our furniture warehouse team.
• The forklift driver will be responsible for safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, load, unload, and organize heavy furniture items throughout the warehouse.
• This role is crucial to maintaining smooth warehouse operations and ensuring products are handled with care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring furniture items are secured and protected during transit.
• Move large and heavy furniture pieces to designated storage or staging areas.
• Stack and organize products in the warehouse to maximize space and maintain a clean, orderly environment.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues.
• Assist with inventory counts and verify incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Follow warehouse safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and equipment use.
• Collaborate with warehouse team members to meet daily productivity goals.
• Occasionally assist with manual lifting or packing when necessary.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification (or willingness to obtain).
