Job summary

Poly-America, L.P. is hiring Forklift Drivers to join our shipping and receiving departments. The role involves safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts to handle, load, and unload finished products, with regular use of RF scanners to pull orders and manage inventory.

Drivers rotate a 4 days on / 4 days off schedule with 12 hour shifts, and must be available on all days. A drug screen is required; Poly-America offers medical/dental, paid vacations/holidays, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• At least six months of recent experience operating a forklift.
• The ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• The ability to work a night shift or a day shift as assigned by management.
• The ability to be a good student of Poly-America processes, equipment, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down propane forklifts to move finished product.
• Regularly use RF scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, stock inventories, and re-stock racks.
• Assist in keeping production lines supplied and inventory racks refreshed as needed.
• Perform duties and additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Poly-America, L.P. is currently hiring Forklift Drivers to join our shipping and receiving departments. Poly-America produces several lines of polyethylene products including high quality trash bags, construction and agricultural films.
Forklift Drivers at Poly-America are responsible for safe operation of sit-down propane forklifts for the purpose of handling, loading, and unloading finished product. Drivers at Poly-America regularly use RF scanners and inventory control systems to pull orders, keep production lines supplied, and re-stock inventory racks. The role may involve additional responsibilities and opportunities as they become necessary and/or are assigned by management.
Forklift Drivers work a yearly set schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off with 12 hour shifts. The days of the week worked will rotate from week to week. Candidates must be available to work each day of the week
