AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. is hiring a Dockworker to load/unload trailers, plan loading, and inspect equipment. You will operate forklifts, ensure safety, and fuel vehicles while maintaining cleanliness across docks.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to pass a drug screen and background check, and flexible hours. English proficiency and hazardous materials handling knowledge are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years or older.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Ability to be forklift-certified.
• Familiar with procedures for handling hazardous materials.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Count sums up to 10,000.
• Flexible hours.

Mansioni

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the dock, with or without equipment.
• Load freight to and from dock and trailers according to Bills of Lading and labels.
• Plan loading to maximize space and reduce damage risk.
• Hook and unhook trailers and operate landing gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operation.
• Fuel trucks, tractors, and other equipment.
• Clean, sweep and wash dock areas and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
