Job summary

Swift Supply is seeking a Warehouse/Yard Loader to assist customers with orders, inspect merchandise, and manage returns. You will load and unload deliveries, maintain a clean work area, and verify counts on inbound freight. Safety and efficiency are emphasized in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires forklift certification, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team or independently while following procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Three months of experience operating forklifts or similar equipment.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with orders and returns as needed.
• Must complete forklift training and maintain certification.
• Load/unload trucks and stock according to supervisor directives.
• Assist with unloading inbound freight and verify counts.
• Complete reports, verify orders, and perform forklift inspections.
• Load and handle customer orders safely and efficiently.
• Maintain knowledge of inventory items and locate items accurately.
• Keep yard clean; address unsafe conditions with Yard Foreman.
• Support cycle counts and inventory control as required.
• Follow dress code, attend meetings, and observe safety policies.
