Job summary

Duracell is seeking a reliable Material Handler to manage finished goods, raw materials, and work-in-process inventories. Responsibilities include forklift operation, inventory control in AS400, barcode creation, and ensuring accurate storage locations, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Candidates should be licensed forklift operators able to work in a fast-paced environment, perform data entry, and participate in cross-training across warehouse tasks.

Qualifications

• Forklift licensed and able to operate forklift up to 90% of shift.
• Must read, write and have basic math skills.
• Daily use of AS400 and barcode systems for inventory.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety policies and report unsafe conditions.
• Wear required PPE when handling hazardous materials.
• Complete forklift checklists at shift start.
• Maintain neat, clean, and orderly work area.
• Access AS400 to order, issue, and receive materials.
• Create barcodes for finished goods and track aging.
• Enter data to ensure inventory and location accuracy.
• Load materials from staging with forklift to carts; deliver to point of use.
• Ensure FIFO barcode transactions and proper storage locations.
• Record, verify part numbers and skid quantities; conduct quality checks.
• Cross-train to support manufacturing/warehouse operations.
