Job summary

TransPak Inc. in Tualatin, OR is seeking a dedicated Material Handler to support the Material Handling team, ensure safe, accurate stocking, loading, and shipping of materials, and maintain organized warehousing and storage systems.

You will read work orders, move freight using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or forklift equipment, participate in continuous improvement projects, and report any equipment defects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Forklift certification or pallet jack training as required by site.
• Open to overtime, weekends and occasionally holidays.
• One (1) year inventory management experience.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine material needs.
• Move freight between storage, production areas and loading docks using hand trucks or forklift.
• Load/unload vehicles and prepare materials for production or shipping.
• Contribute to continuous improvement projects as needed.
• Maintain a safe, efficient facility and report equipment defects.
• Work with teammates to complete tasks in a fast-paced environment.
