Job summary

Hub Group is seeking a Cargo Handler at our integrated Florida warehouse to load, unload, and stage freight with precision and care. The role requires early starts and potential weekend shifts, with a focus on safety and accuracy.

The job involves RF data entry, basic math, and strong customer service, in a fast-paced setting. A forklift certification and 1–2 years warehouse experience are preferred to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; post high school education a plus.
• Ability to count and perform basic math, with or without calculator.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with RF scanners and data entry for inventory tracking preferred.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and follow directions.
• Must be forklift certified and able to drive/operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight and move it within the warehouse.
• Accurately stage and audit next-day routes.
• Check-in and unload appliances from appliance carriers.
• Maintain a positive, safe, professional work environment.
• Assist with weekend/overtime scheduling and admin backup as needed.
