Job summary

CXI Trucking in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a reliable Warehouse Dockworker to join our cross-dock and warehouse team. You will receive, count, and reload freight using sit-down propane forklifts and high-reach lifts in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $21.50/hour with weekly direct deposits. Benefits include health coverage after a 90-day probationary period, vacation after 1 year, and 401(k) eligibility after 1 year. A valid driver's license and forklift certifications are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience in LTL trucking/warehouse operations.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more safely.
• Current certification to operate sit-down propane forklift and high-reach lift (required).
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Receive freight shipments into the cross-dock and warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, including descriptions, quantities, and locations.
• Load and unload trucks/trailers with customer shipments, materials, and equipment.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain high standards of safety, accuracy, and accountability.
