Job summary

DeSHAZO, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Clerk to manage shipping, receiving, and inventory at our Bessemer, AL facility. You will identify and organize items, process orders, and ensure safe handling and accurate records while supporting cross-department coordination.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and strong communication as you handle daily logistics, BOLs, and will-call or walk-in orders. A forklift certification and MS Office proficiency are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong reading, writing and communication abilities.
• Self-motivated, reliable, organized and detail-oriented.
• Able to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Daily receiving and shipping activities.
• Maintain inventory records and packing slips.
• Ensure items are pulled, packed and loaded safely.
• Enter BOL packing slips in company software.
• Ensure accurate receiving and storage of merchandise.
• Keep the facility clean and organized.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing and service to resolve issues.
• Assist with inventory cycle counts and annual counts.
• Operate City Sales center for will-call and walk-in orders.
• Process walk-in orders using company software.
