Job summary

Amtec is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to support the Warehouse Coordinator in maintaining smooth material flow in the EED warehouse. Responsibilities include receiving, organizing, shipping, cleaning, stock-keeping, and staying on top of emails.

The role involves safe forklift operation, documentation, and teamwork to meet safety and productivity standards. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of related experience, a high school diploma, and a valid forklift certification.

Qualifications

3+ years of job related experience.
High School Diploma.
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Knowledge of UPS, Federal Express, RPA Systems Helpful.
Current Forklift certification mandatory.
Familiar and comfortable with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment to load/unload freight and move product between staging areas and trailers.
Stack and store merchandise safely while respecting height/weight restrictions.
Pull/pick customer orders for shipment and record numbers accurately.
Report daily on purchase orders and will calls to Purchasing.
Maintain detailed tracking information for product movement in the warehouse.
Load and unload incoming/outgoing freight safely and efficiently.
Ensure UPS/FedEx/RPA documentation and procedures are followed for materials.
Communicate with Logistics, Project Management, Superintendents, Field staff.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
Uphold warehouse safety protocols and team accountability.
