Job summary

R+L Global Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Associate in the Atlanta area to perform warehousing tasks including order selection, pick and pack, loading/unloading freight, and quality assurance. The role requires operating warehouse equipment and ensuring freight matches shipping records.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, at least 1 year of experience with a standup reach truck, forklift certification or ability to obtain it, and familiarity with LTL/TL or freight forwarding

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
1 year of experience operating a standup reach truck in a warehouse.
Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
Previous warehouse experience.
Experience in LTL, TL or Freight Forwarding environment preferred.
Ability to read bill of lading/manifest.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 75 lbs.
Knowledge of OSHA requirements in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, stock, pull, and stage freight.
Load and unload inbound and outbound freight.
Ensure load quality and timely gate/ load times.
Stage container shipments; route freight to destination.
Operate warehouse machinery (forklift, reach truck, pallet jack) and perform safety checks.
Inspect freight against bill of lading; check damages, shortages, or overages.
Record damages, shortages, and overages.
Maintain warehouse security, cleanliness, and safety standards.
