Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift certification/license.
• Two years of forklift experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic (add/subtract, multiply/divide with tens/ hundreds).
• Ability to identify locations and count inventory with training.
• Load and unload materials in warehouse and on/off pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
• Verify accuracy of incoming or outbound orders; inspect/accept/reject materials.
• Cycle-count raw materials or finished goods and monitor inventory.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in the warehouse.
• Lift up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Use a laptop/tablet to look up inventory locations and reference shipping instructions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely scans materials between locations.
• Safely operates forklift equipment and maintains certification.
• Completes forklift safety checklist at shift start; notifies supervisor if repairs needed.
• Reports equipment, building, product, or general damage to management.
• Keeps a clean and orderly work environment, including sweeping and dusting.
• Assists in counting physical inventory to audit locations and quantities.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
