Job summary

Solenis LLC is seeking a Material Handler at our Fort Scott, Kansas site to safely move, unload, and stage raw materials, chemicals, and packaging for production lines. You will work closely with Mixing, Production and Quality teams, maintain accurate material flow, follow ERP inventory processes, and uphold strict safety and environmental standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of work experience in manufacturing, industrial, or chemical environments.
• Forklift certification.
• Experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, drum lifts, and similar equipment.
• Understanding of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Basic computer skills; ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely unloads, receives, and stores raw materials, chemicals, and packaging components.
• Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, drum handlers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Transfers materials between storage areas, staging zones, and production lines.
• Accurately records material movements in ERP or inventory systems; performs cycle counts.
• Maintains labeling and tracking of materials; supports batch staging records and usage logs.
• Follows all safety procedures for chemical handling and PPE use.
