Job summary

USALCO is seeking a Material Handler/Loader to safely load, unload, and package materials while documenting each step of the process. You will operate forklifts and assist with daily plant tasks in a safety-focused environment.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, capable of working independently or with a team, and comply with OSHA and company safety standards. Forklift certification and basic computer skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 6 months of experience in material handling, warehouse operations, or manufacturing.
• Forklift certification required (or ability to obtain within 14–30 days of hire).
• Ability to safely handle chemicals and operate basic plant equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic computer proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload bulk tanker trucks, railcars, totes, and drums.
• Package, label, and prepare finished products according to specifications.
• Handle and transport raw materials and chemicals following safety guidelines.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification required).
• Accurately complete and maintain required documentation (BOLs, CoCs, batch records).
• Record process data and maintain production logs.
