Job summary

thyssenkrupp Materials, LLC in the United States, Kansas, Park City, seeks a warehouse/stock Controller to accurately provide inventory information for company controlled material stock. This role works on the warehouse floor around heavy machinery and requires precise data entry and material handling.

Responsibilities include receiving shipments, moving material between locations, coordinating stock to processing, operating material handling equipment, maintaining tags, and supporting quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
• Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory management system.
• Ability to use tape measure and calipers for material inspection/measurement.
• Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy in written work and data entry.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Certification to operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklift, side-loader, 4-directional lift, cherry picker).

Responsibilities

• Provide inventory information for company controlled material stock.
• Complete material receiving activities for shipments between locations or from the mill.
• Coordinate movement of material from stock to processing to support production requirements.
• Operate material handling equipment to support material movement.
• Perform accurate data entry in the inventory management system.
• Prepare and maintain inventory tags and consolidate stock.
• Identify material shortages and communicate to staff.
• Assist quality assurance in credits-related activities.
• Support health, safety, quality and Lean initiatives.
